Project Title: Life and Career Development for the Working Class
[Appointment Period: 12 months]
The appointee will be responsible for supporting research projects on Life and career development. He/ She will be engaged in all stages of the research process. The appointee is responsible for developing research materials, conducting literature review, assisting in the coordination and administrative work of the project, supporting data collection and data analysis, writing papers/ reports, and performing any other duties assigned by the Project Leader or his/her delegate(s). The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months.
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related disciplines, preferably with some research experience. For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. They should also have a good command of written Chinese and English, a good command of Cantonese, as well as be conversant in English; have good interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Knowledge of and experience in organizational/ occupational psychology, especially in quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistics, will be a definite advantage.
