Responsibilities

• Plan and manage capital works, alteration, addition and improvement (AA&I) and minor work projects on campus and related off-campus locations
• Prepare briefs and development proposals and conceptual designs for campus planning, development and improvement projects
• Manage and evaluate design/technical proposals of consultants and contractors
• Liaise with government departments, project stakeholders and end-users in all matters relating to campus projects
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process for consultancy service and works contracts
• Manage building services systems and repair and maintenance works for various building services systems
• Monitor project progress and supervise the performance of consultants and contractors for maintaining a high level of safety and workmanship standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

• A recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Building Services/ Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience at supervisory level
• Possession of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
• Relevant experience in managing construction site activities
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling or other 3D modelling software will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, self-motivated
• Proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese, with good Putonghua skills
• Work experience in Universities / institutions and laboratory facilities will be an advantage

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
