Responsibilities:

• Monitor database health and implement backup strategies to ensure data security.
• Analyze and optimize database performance; respond to failures to maintain real-time data consistency.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database systems across various environments.
• Conduct slow query analysis and develop optimization plans, including sharding and read/write separation.
• Design high-availability architectures and implement disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with Application Development Teams on technical requirements and feasibility.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration and SQL tuning .
• Strong understanding of MySQL architecture, replication, and high availability solutions (e.g., MHA, MGR).
• Knowledge of MongoDB replica set clusters and Redis architecture.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB backup and restoration, using Percona tools.
• Familiarity with big data platforms like ClickHouse.
• Proficient in Linux and scripting languages (Shell, Python, Ruby, Go).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), welcome IANG/QMAS visa holders .
