We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead the API Technology and Integration Services team for our financial services client. This role involves managing the end-to-end API services, optimizing common services, and ensuring the seamless integration and functioning of the payment gateway. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in API management and integration. Perm position. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of API services and integration solutions.
• Lead a team of engineers and developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Design and optimize common services to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with various systems and applications.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of APIs, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to API integration and payment gateway functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in API technology and integration practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the API services.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for API services and integration processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in API management and integration, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of API design, development, and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SpringBoot. 
• Experience with API management tools like Apigee, Swagger, Postman, or similar.
• Knowledge of payment gateways and integration processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
