We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead our restaurant operations in Hong Kong and drive regional market development. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in new restaurant brand launches and success in pre-opening and managing a chained restaurant.

About the Role

Report to the Group General Manager, you will lead the front of house operations team and manage a new restaurant chain in Hong Kong and continue to open outlets in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Middle East as part of the expansion plan. You will develop and implement local and regional strategies to drive efficiency and profitability across all restaurant locations. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee pre-opening projects by conducting market feasibility studies, negotiating leasing contracts, managing renovation and construction projects and staff recruitment until the actual opening of the restaurant. Continuously develop, lead and motivate regional managers and staff to ensure consistent high-quality products, service and operations are delivered. Lastly, you will manage the financial performance to ensure revenue goals are met.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' chain restaurant operations, pre-opening, new market development management experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Proven track record in maximizing profitability and success in pre-opening and managing chain restaurants.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong project management skills, excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• In-depth understanding of industry trends and customer preferences.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese is a prerequisite for this role.
