Quantitative Crypto Analyst – CryptoGrowth

CryptoGrowth, a leading and highly profitable cryptocurrency hedge fund, is seeking a  Quantitative Crypto Analyst  to join our Trading Team. In this role, you will design and implement advanced frameworks that combine quantitative and qualitative data to deliver deep insights into crypto markets. You’ll create dashboards, metrics, and systems to uncover market opportunities, driving strategic decisions and investment actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crypto Market Analysis:  Develop frameworks to analyze on-chain data, extracting actionable insights to inform trading strategies.
• Quantitative Research:  Use techniques like time series analysis, sentiment analysis, and machine learning to generate trading signals and predict market trends.
• Collaboration & Reporting:  Build dashboards for real-time market tracking and translate complex research into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Crypto Experience:  2+ years of hands-on experience with on-chain data in a quantitative research or trading role.
• Technical Skills:  Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience deploying analytical models.
• Data Technologies:  Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Snowflake is a plus.
• Quantitative Background:  Proven ability to apply quantitative methods (e.g., time series analysis, optimization) to crypto markets.
• Communication Skills:  Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education:  Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Crypto Knowledge:  Experience with crypto data vendors, APIs, and blockchain analytics. Understanding of tokenomics and blockchain protocols.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset:  Self-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
