Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other eDiscovery team members to ensure timely and accurate execution of requests for litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, ensuring requested data collections are performed and completed through delivery.
  • Conduct complex custodial research to identify and collect required data sources.
  • Perform collection tasks for critical enterprise data sources, including Microsoft 365 Exchange, SharePoint, and other relevant platforms.
  • Input queries to execute collections and conduct necessary quality control (QC) checks.
  • Complete internal collections using barcoding processes to ensure data preservation.
  • Troubleshoot collection failures, stalled collections, and errors.
  • Execute internal data transfers, conduct quality checks, and prepare data for final delivery.
  • Meet daily and weekly productivity targets.
  • Provide additional support functions related to data delivery as required.

Required Skills

Job Requirements & Core Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in electronic discovery, IT, or a related field.
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service orientation.
  • Ability to excel in a metric-driven, production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for reporting.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Microsoft Purview.
  • Prior experience in data acquisitions or knowledge of Cyber Forensics tools/processes.
  • Experience in Legal, Regulatory, or Compliance functions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ex-Merge, EnCase, SQL, Robocopy, or the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
  • Understanding of computer operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, taking responsibility for tasks and following them through to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
