ActusRayPartners is a fast-growing emerging asset management company with strong performance. Founded in late 2019 by former Macquarie Bank colleagues, the firm commenced operations in early 2021 and currently has a team of ~30. The firm is headquartered in Hong Kong and also has a presence in Sydney, Australia.


ActusRayPartners has a collaboration agreement with Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited, a Hong Kong listed financial services company (86.HK). We co-locate in their headquarters providing a Grade A working environment.


The Firm’s underlying clients include a regional government reserve fund, globally well-known financial institutions, pension (ERISA) funds, private banks, and family offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.


ActusRayPartners’ investment process, called Discretionary Probabilistic Investing, combines a quantitative base with a highly differentiated discretionary overlay. Currently, the firm offers absolute return “hedge fund” products investing in listed equity markets across Asia and Europe. Plans include developing other products and investing globally.


In 2021, ActusRayPartners was nominated as 1 of 50 “Tomorrow’s Titans” by the hedge fund journal. The firm’s European strategy has been nominated for performance awards in every complete year since inception (winning in 2023 and 2024) and the Asian strategy won a performance award in its first full year, 2024.

Job Description:


With continued business growth, ActusRayPartners is seeking an Executive Assistant to assist our Executive Committee in enhancing their productivity and with the smooth running of the business. You would be working closely with our C-suite and you can meaningfully contribute to our continued growth.


This role provides an outstanding opportunity for anyone wanting to learn about the asset management industry or move to a friendly, high performing team within the industry. You could potentially be an experienced EA or an exceptionally talented recent graduate wanting to fast track their career.

As such, the role would also suit someone wanting to develop first class business skills equal to, or above that, available in London or New York.


For the right candidate, over a period of 2-3 years, this role has the possibility of evolving into other roles within our expanding business. For example, there will be close collaboration with the marketing and client servicing team. Advancement would be a function of performance, aptitude, and knowledge gained.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain C-suite executives' calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. This may include assisting our C-suite enhance their focus on our business.
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings by sending out invitations and appointment reminders, booking meeting rooms, and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Represent the firm professionally in all correspondence with stakeholders, including existing and prospective investors, business partners, and service providers.
  • Assist with the preparation of board reports and management meeting minutes across all areas of the business, such as investment, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations. You would participate first hand in management meetings across a number of these areas.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and tracking projects and initiatives, including collaborating with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including preparing notes and summaries for investor meetings, and organising files and records.
  • Assist with the production and distribution of marketing materials such as investment newsletters and factsheets.


Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant investment management or adjacent EA experience, preferably in the financial services industry, OR
  • Exceptionally talented recent graduates looking to fast-track their career.
  • Strong skills and experience with all Microsoft Outlook products.
  • Native or exceptional fluency in spoken and written English.
