Secondary Teacher – English Language (Maternity cover from February 2025 to May 2025)

We are seeking to appoint a supply teacher to cover our staff on maternity leave. He/She will join our Secondary School to teach English Language and Literature from February to May 2025. The person should look forward to delivering the highest quality of learning in a stimulating, happy and safe environment.

As such, the person can look forward to engaging students in character and values education, as well as participating in our vibrant student leadership culture in the school.

Candidates should:

• possess an undergraduate Honours Degree in English Language and Literature and a recognised teacher certification, i.e. Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent
• proven teaching experience in Secondary English Language and Literature
• have a passion for teaching English Language and Literature to Secondary students (Secondary 1 to Secondary 4)
• speak English at a native level
• collaborate well with colleagues on curriculum and resource development matters, as well as contribute to other departmental and school needs when required
• have a strong commitment and passion for students, education & English.
