Social Services Manager (Job Ref: HSKTHP/M250212/250221)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and supervise subordinate staff of the Transitional Housing program, Youth Hostel and related housing projects.
- Lead service units in developing service strategies, monitor their operations and processes, provide professional supervision, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, enhance service effectiveness, and ensure service quality aligns with individual project contracts.
- Take up other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Registered social worker with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in community services or grassroots family services, including at least 5 years in supervisory and management roles. Experiences in social housing is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking, social innovation, sustainable development, community capacity building, and social entrepreneurship.
- Strong working knowledge of community resources and public services in Hong Kong.
- Independent, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
