We are seeking a research scientist to join our AI-enabled materials research. Individuals in this role are expected to be knowledgeable in research areas such as Large Language Models, Reinforcement Learning, generative models, open-ended learning, etc.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in computer science, statistics, or related field.

• Excellent programming skills in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow.

• Hands-on experience in deep learning and language modeling.

• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, e.g. Transformers, Accelerate, DeepSpeed, etc.

• Passionate about interdisciplinary research on AI and science.

• Ability to work independently on defined projects, as well as a member of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI for Science.

• Experience in Cheminformatics or Bioinformatics.

• Experience in Large Language Modeling.

• Experience in Reinforcement Learning.

• Experience in theoretical anaylsis of the Transformer-based models.
