We are currently working with a leading global law firm who are looking for a dynamic &motivated and HR Generalist to join our Regional Human Resources team for a 1-year contract.


The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting HR initiatives and contributing to the overall employee experience within our firm. This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while learning and gaining practical experience within the HR function of a prestigious global law firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.


  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employees to address HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and provide guidance on performance management processes.


  • Training and Development:
  • Coordinate and assist in the implementation of training programs and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Assist in conducting audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.


  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process and provide support to managers in performance discussions.
  • Help to develop and analyze metrics to improve HR processes and enhance employee satisfaction.


  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm.


Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years HR generalist experience from a leading a multinational firm – preference will be given to candidates coming from a legal background
  • Must be based in HK with a valid HKID
