Amara Communications is looking for a Public Relations & Social Media Specialist to join the team. This is a full time, permanent role.

 

You will be involved in campaigns for clients in the lifestyle, beauty and hospitality sectors. The role will cover every aspect of PR and social campaigns, from concept to execution.

 

As a proactive self-starter, you will be diligent and organised, and able to forge long-standing relationships with clients, media and colleagues.


Responsibilities

  • Develop both English & Chinese press releases
  • Secure media and social media coverage for clients in accordance with predetermined KPIs
  • Establish strategic relationships with media and influencers
  • Manage and maintain and grow social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Little Red Book etc.
  • Analyse the local market and competitors to understand how to gain a competitive advantage in the market
  • Research and deliver high-quality content on multiple formats (text, graphic, video, live stream, etc.)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new features on various social channels to optimize community management
  • Coordinate and manage the production process from ideation to publishing ensuring high quality and timely execution
  • Collaborate with third parties, Youtubers and influencers to create and implement marketing campaigns and sponsored content
  • Establish strategic relationships with media and key stakeholders
  • Track and report on PR and social media campaign performance, ensuring alignment with client objectives
  • Database maintenance


Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • A minimum 2 years of solid marketing & PR experience in lifestyle brands, agency background is welcomed
  • Good Chinese and English copywriting skills
  • Strong media/influencer network is preferred
  • Outgoing, creative, passionate about trends, self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organised and willing to work under pressure
