Major Responsibilities:
- Identifying & advancing sales opportunities through deep knowledge of
- AFT’s firefighting equipment & safety products to fire departments, governments & municipalities authorities and other relevant clients.
- Frequent travel to fire departments, dealers, and OEMs to demonstrate and showcase AFT’s products.
- Embed in local & regional fire service culture. Be proactive in visiting and networking with these authorities and to attend, cultivate customer demand, and become present in the local fire service scene in your geographic region.
- Become a knowledgeable and expertise in firefighting equipment: - configuration, application, installation, troubleshooting, and basic technical support.
- Attend public safety trade shows and events nationwide (as an exhibitor or observer).
- Set up and conduct product demonstrations with prospective dealers and end users.
- Co-ordinate export shipments and supply chain inventory with distributors and direct clients.
- Accountable for the overall sales performance including the achievement of revenue, profit and sales related expense budgets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Establishes appropriate short and long-term strategies to compete effectively in the current and future market, and drives execution of those strategies.
- Preparing periodic reports to management and market intelligence to monitor business progress and competition.
Qualifications And Education Required:
- University and higher education in technical subjects or related fields preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the firefighting equipment manufacturers or distribution companies.
- A proven track record of sales achievements in developing new business with government & municipalities authorities.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively in English.
- Demonstrated in-depth experience in the organization of trade show events with interaction with trade organizers and agencies.
- Willingness to frequently travel to other regions to visit clients and organize demo events.
- Effective computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
