Financial Risk Management - Group Risk Management – SVP (Financial Risk Analytics)

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team of financial analysts to perform the function of second line challenge on risk and business initiatives of the HKEX Group
• Establish, review and implement financial and clearing risk policies, risk appetite statements and rules of HKEX
• Develop and apply risk management tools, mechanisms, and framework to assess and manage financial risks of HKEX
• Summary to conduct technical risk analyses and produce reports to support the dissemination of risk insights across the Group
• Write detailed risk reports with various deep dive & technical scenario analyses to further the risk dialogue for risk committees
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses on an on-going basis in response to market events (both macro and idiosyncratic), examining a broad risk across and relevance to our markets
• Foster and maintain effective relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, law enforcement, industry peers, and partners.
• Exercise Group-level oversight on financial risk matters of overseas Group entities.
