Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying data domains, owners and stewards, as well as supporting them throughout the adoption journey
• Provide support and review on data governance artifacts on data related projects to facilitate use case registration, creation of consolidated data catalog and other key topics in data governance
• Enforce data governance policies and standards in the data platform, and maintain documentation for data processes, lineage and governance frameworks
• Develop materials for data governance forums and working groups
• Maintain and manage dashboard workspaces, data authorization, and data sources to ensure high availability and reliability
• Monitor and optimize data operations, including data pipelines and storage solutions, for efficient resource use
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to proactively identify and resolve issues
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of key data governance concepts such as data catalog, master data, and single source of truth
• Hands-on experience in data engineering and operations, database management, Azure cloud platform, data modeling, ETL processes, and/or data integration tools
• Good vendor management and communication skills with a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Demonstrates determination to achieve goals and resilience under pressure
