This global leader in consumer electronic products are now actively seeking a Product Development Manager to join their team. With over 15,000 employees worldwide, and sales channels in over 50 countries this strategic position will be responsible leading the creation, development and coordination of new product initiatives, ensuring they align with the brands requirements and market trends.

Job Duties:

• Manage a team of product specialists
• Collaborate with internal teams to strategize and plan product development.
• Work closely with design, engineering, quality, and sales team
• Evaluate technology options to develop design strategies.
• Drive the performance and brand awareness activities.
• Develop ad implement strategic plans to achieve corporate objectives for products launched

Requirements:

• Degree holder with proven track records and years of experience in related industry
• Master's degree on Mechanics, Electronics, and Firmware, Power Electric or related disciplines is preferred
• Over 5 years' experience on a decision-making position in Consumer Electronics and/or lighting related industry is desired
• Knowledge on Electronic CAD Tools such OrCAD, Cadence, Pads and CAE software (e.g. MATLAB, Protel and HFSS etc.)
• Fair understanding of Mechanical CAD Tools such as Solidworks, ProE, Inventor etc.
• Familiar with Industry standards such as xFMEA, Lean Design, Kaizen, and others
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles around electronics
• Knowledge on regulation such as of FCC, UL, CE, CSA, ASTM, ISO etc
• Knowledge on Product Life Cycle environment such as Windchill, EPDM, PDM, and the like is a big plus
• Familiar with MS Office
• Good knowledge of mechanical design is a plus
• Excellent Team Player, able to communicate proficiently
• Communication in English and Chinese
• Work extensively in HK and China is a must
