MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the followings. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to fulfill optimum efficiency of this position:
To take the ownership and responsibility of the assigned projects, and to ensure they are delivered as high-stand project management with customer satisfaction and acceptance. The project executions shall fit for purpose, on schedule and with budget. Proactive mindset and positive attitude are essential.
- Be responsible to lead a project mainly focusing on execution phase, and to provide necessary input to different teams during acquisition phase.
- Be responsible for delivering the projects within scope, budget and schedule. To steer all operational delivery and excellence topics
- Ensure all approvals and acceptances from customer, internal and external stakeholders is obtained at required milestone and ahead of projects proceeding to the next steps.
- Develop, drive, maintain and track the project in different stages; Evaluate, document and manage project risks;
- Champion project working group to ensure project deliverables are met on time, directing, and coordinating assigned resources.
- Provide regular updates and meetings to customers, internal and external stakeholders about the progress, project timeline, requirement, action items and follow-up items
- Initiate a lesson learnt during or after closing the project. Handover the project to service team or business partner properly.
- Act as key relationships and interfaces with project working groups across the departments, to provide an excellent standard of communication and working relationship.
- Develop and maintain an open and professional relationship with the customer and supplier.
REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of proven experience in project management is preferred. Solid experience in project lifecycle and deliverables with proven track record. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Project Specialist.
- Background with project management or technical management in banking system industry or intralogistics industry is an advantage
- Project Management Certification
- Highly organized with excellent time management skill; ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders
- Capable to manage in an international and multi-cultural project environment.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, willing to learn, able to work independently and collaborate with the team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. MS Project, MS Excel)
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Flexible to travel overseas
