We are seeking a UAT Tester with Point of Sale (POS) experience to join a critical POS upgrade project in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and experience working with POS systems in an insurance or financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the POS upgrade, ensuring system functionality aligns with business requirements.
Develop, execute, and document test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
Collaborate with business users, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth testing and implementation.
Conduct regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing to validate system performance.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure a seamless transition to the upgraded POS system.
Provide detailed UAT reports and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), preferably in the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of POS systems and previous experience with POS testing is preferable
Familiarity with insurance policy transactions, claims processing, or underwriting workflows.
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with business and technical teams
