Introduction: Join our dynamic team at Oracle as a Support Renewal Sales Specialist! In this role, you will drive the renewal process of Oracle's contracts with existing customers, ensuring the continuity of business practices and nurturing long-term client relationships. Your focus will be on timely renewals for medium to large enterprise customers in your assigned territory.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the renewal process for existing contracts with medium to large enterprise customers within the assigned territory.
  • Educate customers about Oracle's business practices and contractual implications, ensuring they understand and appreciate the value of Oracle's portfolio.
  • Achieve productivity targets by making outbound calls to ensure timely renewals.
  • Handle exceptions and resolve issues that could delay or inhibit the renewal process.
  • Identify potential upsell opportunities and transfer leads to sales representatives for further development.
  • Prepare annual support renewal orders in line with customer contracts and Oracle’s business practices.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain a clean backlog to ensure a steady revenue stream.
  • Foster and nurture relationships with Named/Enterprise accounts to maximize revenue, reduce cancellations, and encourage ongoing client engagement.
  • Advise customers on maintaining up-to-date software, hardware refreshes, and migration opportunities to Oracle Cloud products.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders within Oracle to ensure compliant and efficient renewal processes.
  • Address and resolve invoicing issues related to support renewals as they arise.
  • Process license migrations, assignments, and legal name changes within the territory as needed.
  • Conduct onsite visits with customers when necessary to strengthen relationships and understand their needs better.


Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales or a closely related area.
  • Proven track record as a leading contributor both individually and as a team member.
  • Ability to mentor and provide direction to junior members of the team.
  • Experience in handling complex sales cycles involving multiple team collaboration.
  • Advanced technical and business skills in sales or a related field of specialization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Oracle's product portfolio and the technology industry is highly preferred.
