This role will be leading our investment initiatives. He/she will possess a strong background in finance, particularly in M&A, and will be responsible for driving strategic investment projects that align with our company's growth objectives.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team to plan, execute, and manage investment projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the Capital Expenditure (Capex) Control Function, including the development of the Five-Year Plan (5YP), Annual Budget, and ongoing budgetary controls to ensure financial discipline and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Line President to conduct periodic assessments of investment effectiveness, utilizing performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Manage the Tax Compliance and Planning function of the company, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis to support M&A activities. Facilitate post-merger integration processes to ensure seamless transitions and realization of synergies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, legal advisors, and industry partners. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships.


Requirement:

  • ​Bachelor's Degree​ in Major/Subject: Business, Finance & Accounting or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
  • Fluent English is a must; Cantonese & Mandarin preferred
  • Big 4 background is preferred
  • Professional Accounting Qualification: HKCPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is desirable
  • Mobility to travel for business
