The Retail Manager holds accountable for driving business objectives and implementing retail initiatives that is aligned with our corporate vision and relevant in the markets. It’s a dynamic and multifaceted role requiring strong leadership, analytical skills, and a keen understanding of retail operations to effectively lead diverse retail environments. He/she will lead and develop a high-performing team, implement actions at the store level to improve Customer Experience, Operational Excellence and collaborate with stakeholders to execute business strategies for ultimately Driving Results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
Monitor sales performance in different sales channels versus organization objectives
Develop and implement commercial actions to grow the business e.g. targeting, clienteling and incentive programs
Analyze sales data to identify business trends and area for improvement
Communicate with Regional stakeholders on trading evolutions and insights, including but not limit to competition, tourism, consumer trends
Ensure efficient reporting, administrative management and upwards communication
Provide inputs for budgeting process in terms of sales forecast, headcount requirements and financial
requirements
Present business findings and actions on regular basis
Team Management
Communicate vision, strategy and clear directions to retail staff to build a high-performance team
Structure the organization of retail activity and allocate responsibilities
Flexibility on Team structure through recruitment, rotation and mobility
Foster a positive team environment focused on collaboration and driving excellence
Ensure proper trainings of sales staff and staff development
Conduct coaching, performance evaluations while provide in-time feedback
Brand Ambassador
Act as brand ambassador, actively promote the brand in the local market
Propose and effectively implement local marketing, customer relation/VIP strategies bringing in a positive exposure to the brand image
Nurture relationship with business community and competition
Keep abreast of counterfeits activities in the market and provide regular feedback/information to the anti-counterfeiting department
Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations across all retail channels and support operational issues
Ensure that the standards of housekeeping and merchandising are maintained at all times
Enforce company policies and procedures; constantly review and adjust to the business requirement
Address customer complaints with promptly feedback; provide resources and support to stores
Control costs for high effectiveness of operations and optimum retail in-store environment
Plan and take necessary steps to have optimum stock levels, appropriate merchandize mix and correct inventory control; maintain inventory discrepancies at the lowest possible level
Collaborate with VM team to create eye-catching displays in different locations and sales channels
Implement and support all security measures
Investigate and report on any occurrence outside normal events
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
At least 5 years' managerial experience in fashion luxury retail industry; proven track record of achieving objectives and managing successful sales events
Exceptional business acumen to identify opportunities swiftly
Strong leadership and sizable team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional presentation skills
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities to address market trends effectively
Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and PH, as needed for special events
Bachelor’s degree holder in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field
Fluency in English, knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage
Computer literacy
