Senior Manager, Strategic Communications- Investment Holding Company ( HONG KONG )

About the role

A leading multinational conglomerate in the manufacturing industry is now looking for a Senior Manager to lead their strategic communications. This role will serve one of the group biggest company portfolio across Asia and other key international markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing public relations across both traditional earned media outlets and social, proactively driving reputation, thought leadership, handling sustainability comms, internal communications, crisis and issues etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own, manage and drive the strategic communications strategy of the group
• Curate content and drive social media strategy
• Serve as day-to-day press across one of the firm's key portfolios
• Manager company and executive profiles
• Advise key internal stakeholders on critical issues, brand reputation and corporate communications
• Create innovative communication strategies and plans to drive business growth
• Develop and manage the firm's media relations and media database
• Collaborate with other corporate communication functions throughout the firm's holding companies
• Manage agencies and media resources across multiple regions

About the Candidate

• University degree in Public Relations, Media Studies or Journalism
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in corporate public relations, ideally with experience across investor relations, Sustainabilty communications and crisis and issues management
• Experience working with ultra-high networth Individuals and holding companies
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organisational skills
• Possess at strong understanding of digital / social media strategies and content
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (Chinese or other Bahasa a major plus)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and creative spirit
• The ability to multi task and manage teams and resources in various regions
