What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Conduct periodic thematic reviews of WeLend’s products, operation procedures and AML/KYC procedures to ensure they are executed in accordance to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Identify, articulate and quantify any major discrepancies and prepare review reports with findings and recommendations to the management
• Track WeLend’s risk exposure in its daily operations
• Formulate, drive and implement process enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, risk effectiveness and to deliver quality customer service
• Follow up on management responses and rectification action items
  
  
  

What Is Required And What We’re Looking For

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operation Management, Risk Management or related discipline
• At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience, preferably in retail banking and fintech industry
• Passionate in shaping a brand-new lending experience to the market
• Solid knowledge of internal control principles and ability to assess risk in various dimensions
• Strong understanding of digital/online/virtual lending operations
• Good communication skills and able to articulate complex information for audiences of different backgrounds
• Excellent command of spoken and written Cantonese and English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Officer role
