Aster Recruiting is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President or Director - (Technology) Private Equity Investment for our esteemed client, a leading investment firm focused on healthcare and high-end technology sectors including AI, semiconductors, and advanced technology investments. This role will be a key position within their Technology Investment team, offering a unique opportunity to shape the investment strategy and drive growth in these rapidly evolving markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy Development:  Lead the formulation and execution of investment strategies in AI, high-end technology, and semiconductor sectors, identifying new opportunities that align with market trends.
• Deal Sourcing and Execution:  Originate and manage mid to large-scale investment transactions, overseeing the entire deal process from due diligence to negotiation and closing.
• Client Relationship Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors and portfolio company executives, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
• Portfolio Oversight:  Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive operational improvements and value creation.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship:  Mentor junior professionals within the firm, fostering their development and ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
• Market Analysis:  Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential investment targets in the technology landscape.

Qualifications:

• Candidates who are qualified for the  Vice President  role should have 8-12 years of experience in private equity or related investment fields.
• Candidates who qualify for the Director  role should possess 13-15 years of experience, with a proven track record in sourcing, executing, and managing investments in technology sectors.
• Educational Background:  Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred; relevant professional certifications (CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
• Sector Knowledge:  Deep understanding of AI, semiconductors, and high-end technology markets, including familiarity with current trends and challenges.
• Language Proficiency:  Native proficiency in Mandarin and English is required for this role.
• Technical Skills:  Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment; ability to develop comprehensive investment memorandums.
• Interpersonal Skills:  Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
