(Monthly salary of HK$29,995 to HK$47,010, 3-year fixed-term contract, further employment is subject to review on service needs and performance)

The Duties

• Provide enquiry services related to the anti-discrimination issues to the public as Duty Officer, including receiving walk-in enquirers and answering incoming calls
• Provide replies and advice to written enquiries
• Assist in the investigation of discrimination complaints by conducting inquiries, analysing information and preparing reports
• Maintain, compile and analyse statistics on complaints and enquiries
• Provide clerical and operational support to the Division
• Undertake any other duties as assigned, including but not limited to internal transfer to other divisions within the EOC

The Person

• University graduate with 2 years’ or above full-time post-qualification working experience (Graduates with less work experience may be considered but with a remuneration package commensurate with the experience)
• Preference may be given to candidates who have experience in law enforcement, regulatory affairs and/or public service complaint handling
• Legal qualification or knowledge an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
• Flexible and adaptive to changes
• Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Computer literacy in software applications
• Motivated and committed to the EOC’s vision, mission and values
