Finance Assistant - Tedder Office


Tedder Office, a family office, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day financial operations and supporting various entities under our family office structure.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
  • Process and track expenses, invoices, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with VAT returns and liaise with HMRC/HK Govt as required
  • Support monthly payroll processes and maintain organized records
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Interact and communicate effectively with various entities under the family office structure


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Excellent MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with multiple entities
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
