Major Duties And Responsibilities
The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “Pseudo-Documentary and Speculative History in Science Fiction: Subversion or Witnessing of Factuality?” (Project No. R6754). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Supporting various research activities, including library searches, text and material acquisition, identifying key examples, data collection, and categorization
- Preparing presentation materials for conferences;
- Disseminating research findings through academic publications; and
- Performing other tasks related to the project.
Candidates
Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience And Competence
- A good recognized master or above, preferably in the field of modern or contemporary Chinese literature, or a related discipline;
- Competent at computer skills and software (e.g. MS Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Databases);
- Self-motivated and meticulous, and be able to meet deadlines and work independently; and
- An excellent command of English and Chinese.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract starting from May 2025 to Nov 2025. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
