Founded in 1878, Po Leung Kuk, as one of the largest charity organisations in Hong Kong, has been serving Hong Kong for 146 years with its objective of “Protecting the Young and the Innocent”(保赤安良). Currently, the Kuk has more than 300 units strategically located in Hong Kong and provides services in education, social welfare, youth, recreation, culture and integrated health care. We have about 45,000 students in our schools and attend to more than 1,800,000 visits for services annually in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive facilities management support for the headquarter and warehouse including but not limited to office improvement/renovation works, facilities repairs and maintenance, etc., to ensure the environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity;
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance/repair works to meet compliance and safety requirement;
• Monitor the performance of teammates / on-site service providers and contractors in cleaning, security and gardening services;
• Prepare bidding documents, proposals and regular reports;
• Attend emergency calls and urgent duties round the clock; and
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and other duties as required.

Requirements:

• A recognized Degree and preferably in Building Studies/Services, Property/Facilities Management or related discipline;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in sizable firm;
• Good at MS Office and Chinese word processing, with knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage;
• Competent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese;
• Well organized, detail-oriented, highly independent, proactive and able to prioritize tasks; and
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills.
