Assess and improve the organisation's security, meeting regulatory standards.
Implement measures to enhance security, ensuring compliance with laws and governance.
Act as the contact point with governmental bodies for collaboration and incident reporting.

What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred but not required.
At least 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in security governance or management roles.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), risk management, and cybersecurity threats.
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity.
Proven ability to lead teams and achieve goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
