- Report on news events and create articles and features for video and written formats, as well as social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Attend and cover events such as press conferences and briefings as directed by the department, reporting in English / Chinese.
- Collaborate with cameramen and editors during video production processes.
- Generate story ideas, write features, conduct interviews, and perform related research to provide context.
- Demonstrate creativity in writing engaging content and propose appealing projects for print and online audiences.
- Keep close communication with the news desk regarding work-related updates and story developments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Media Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in writing and video reporting on local and international news.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong's governance structure and the function of functional constituencies.
- Proficient with social media platforms, particularly Facebook.
- Knowledge of video shooting and editing is preferred.
- Possess good news judgment and industry knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and handle pressure.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
