Internal Audit Director (Public Sector | 120-180k)
Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan.
Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
Identify and assess areas of risk and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the board of directors.
Collaborate with various departments to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to staff on audit-related matters.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 15 years of experience in internal auditing, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the NGO sector is a plus.
