Oversee and manage tax compliance and reporting for both Hong Kong and China operations.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
Provide tax advisory services to the business units, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Manage transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors on tax-related matters.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
Support internal and external audits related to tax issues.
Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on Hong Kong and China tax, with big 4 training is a plus
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and China tax laws and regulations.
Experience with transfer pricing regulations and documentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
