A reputable China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for a high-caliber Director / Associate Director, Private Banking to join her compliance department 

Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute Business Plans: Formulate and implement a strategic business plan to enhance client acquisition, encourage business referrals, and build a robust portfolio of new clients.
• Client Management: Oversee a client base of high-net-worth individuals, focusing on business penetration and portfolio growth.
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with investment consultants and other business partners to deliver tailored products and services.
• Long-Term Relationship Building: Offer solutions that foster long-term client relationships while identifying and capitalizing on additional business opportunities.
• Compliance Adherence: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and local regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Educational Background: University graduate with additional professional qualifications in Finance or Investment preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience serving private banking clients.
• Skill Set: Strong negotiation, credit, communication, organizational, analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated consultative selling abilities, along with robust business development and prospecting skills.
• Networking Ability: Strong aptitude for proactive networking and building long-term partnerships.
• Adaptability: Agile and flexible in adapting to changing environments.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of investment products, financial industry trends, and the ability to articulate business offerings effectively.
• Compliance Management: Capability to manage a client book in a compliant manner.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese.
