Manager, Talent Development (Frequent travel to Dongguan)
This role will be an integral part of the Corporate People Development team to design and governance the implementation of talent programs and training plans for designated organizations within Crystal group.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
Manage a team in CN, act as the Share Service Centre which focusing mainly on execution in L&D topics for trading office and factories.
Develop junior L&D team members for picking up new L&D initiatives.
Associate In Program and Graduate Management
Tailor and customize associate in-program and graduate management structure and evaluation mechanism
Follow the guideline as well as associate hand book and provide continuous suggestions
Manage their performance e.g. retention rate or performance rating
Monitor and participate associates’ regular performance review
Provide suggestions and feedbacks to organizations for continuous improvement
Manage associates cross organizations events as well as CEO meeting
Stay connection with associates and provide regular touch points
Manage associate Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Support yearly associate surveys and prepare the action plan of different organizations
Talent Program Management
Support the execution of corporate talent development program for example development center
Establish hard skills development plan if needed
Manage their performance e.g. retention rate or performance rating
Monitor and participate their regular performance review
Stay connection with talents and provide regular touch points
Manage talent Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Soft skills curriculum
Work with business partners and department heads to conduct ongoing training need analysis
Prepare training and development plan and assist in the development and implementation of the training curriculum for assigned employee population
Design, deliver and/or coordinate soft skills training and evaluates the effectiveness for continuous improvement
Provide train the trainer services for other organizations
Coach junior L&D professionals and internal talents
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in L&D area, experience in talent management and training program design is highly preferred
Certification of licensed management tools such as Situational Leadership, 7-habits, OPQ, DiSC, etc. will be an advantage but not essential
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
Can engage stakeholders in achieving common goals
Able to work independently and as part of the team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-tasking, and think creatively
