Job Title: Asia Operations Manager

Location: Central Hong Kong

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 HKD p/m


We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and oversee the Hong Kong and Singapore entities and staff of a global professional services firm. This person will be Hong Kong office based full time from 9am - 6pm with some flexibility required. We are only looking at candidates who are currently based in Hong Kong.


The company is expanding rapidly, so this is a great opportunity for someone to make the role their own and work alongside existing staff to build out a larger team. There is lots of autonomy in the role, which would suit someone who enjoys that extra responsibility and possibility of growth without needing too much management and instruction to get on with tasks. You will also be required to provide some PA support to senior members of the HK office.


Some of your key tasks and responsibilities will include administrative tasks, including document handling, travel arrangements, event planning, client data updates, office supplies, and vendor coordination. Oversee IT procurement, setup, and liaise with the companies IT firm for support. Handle HR functions such as onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave tracking, visa processing, and employee records. Manage finance operations, including banking, invoicing, expense tracking, audits, and tax filings. Ensure compliance with business registration, licensing, and foreign entity setup while coordinating legal and shareholder documentation.


Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Financial administration including knowledge of Xero.
  • Extensive experience working with excel, payroll payments, issuing invoices, and chasing, fielding accountant requests.
  • Previous experience accessing company bank accounts and making large payments. Any book-keeping experience a plus.
  • Strong external & internal stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in Cantonese and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Excel & Xero.
  • Ability to work autonomously while taking on significant responsibility.
  • Experience supporting a team.
  • Ambitious with a 'can do' attitude.
