Manager, Business Development (Learning & Development)
The Manager of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving HKIB institutional proposition and strategy to provide training and consultancy service through training needs identification and solutions offering. He/she will also work closely with programme owners to ensure commercialisation of broad range of HKIB training programme to the industry.
Job Responsibilities
Define and prepare the business development plan to achieve annual targets
Manage a portfolio of banking clients to deepen relationships and identify new business opportunities, ultimately leading to closing of deals
Contribute thought leadership in marketing strategy and activities for brand building of ECF qualification with the Programme Development team
Conduct training needs analysis to identify suitable training solutions to clients for all Professional Qualification Programmes and Continuing Development Programmes
Analyse business and financial data for regular report generation
Make presentations to HKIB Senior Management at bi-weekly BD Meetings, as well as represent BD at quarterly Committee Meetings as required
Partner with Operations to run the CDP classes smoothly and provide quality assurance over CDP presentation materials, trainer liaison and bank liaison
Stay up-to-date on current hot banking topics for programme development of CDP
Supervise a small team to drive and implement the business development plan
Ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
Degree holder or above
Experience in Banking & Finance and/or Training & Development industry
Minimum 8 years relevant experience of which 2 are at Manager level
Holders of HKIB professional qualifications will be advantageous
Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese
Be a pro-active, innovative, self-motivated, good team player, and result oriented
Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) & Chinese word processing
