Your Role:

This position is responsible for leading on all financial and accounting activities within Warner Music Asia. This role will partner with the Finance Director in leading and overseeing all financial activities including audit and compliance, reporting, budget and forecast management. This role will also focus on continuous improvement of current processes and procedures to ensure that the Company is compliant with local accounting standards, regulation and company policies while ensuring cost efficiency is effectively maximized.

Here You’ll Get To:

• Oversee full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and document filing
• Review and improve Balance Sheet accounts breakdown and analysis every month working closely together with the Shared Service Centre
• Oversee Royalty process and daily royalty administrative work
• Deliver timely & accurate monthly financial and management reports
• Assist to prepare annual budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts
• Liaise with auditors for annual statutory audit relating to the preparation of the financial account and tax matters
• Ensure local compliance such as direct and indirect tax filing
• Provide any ad hoc analysis if required

About You:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, CPA or related field
• Experience in implementation of SAP
• Experience of data analysis with the ability to analyze complex information and present in a concise format
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written across all levels of an organization
• Technically strong in accounting standards and taxation knowledge
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Possess high level integrity, initiative and results oriented
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Sound presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to non-finance managers and senior directors
• Must be proficient in English and Chinese written and verbal
