A top-tier insurer looking for a 1.5 AML and risk assurance candidate to lead the team.

Your new role

• Act as the 1.5 line of defense and collaborate with the 2nd line of defense to develop and update the AML and operational risk policies.
  
• Oversee and investigate escalated cases by businesses and operations.
  
• Implement and conduct reviews of the governance risk frameworks and assessments and develop the compliance review framework.
  
• Assist in enforcing data governance frameworks and improving data quality.
  
• Provide compliance training and first-line advisory to businesses.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in risk management, business administration, and finance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control, AML, operational risk, compliance, or related areas within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Relevant qualifications and certificates (e.g., CAMS, AAMLP, CRM, etc.) are a plus.
• Sound knowledge in AML regulations, data governance frameworks, operational risk frameworks, and internal control.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

What you'll get in return

• Successful candidates will be offered a monthly salary ranging from HKD 100,000 to 120,000 depending on your interview performance and level of experience;
