Our client is a large FMCG firm, seeking an HR Manager with extensive experience in providing comprehensive HR support. This role will involve implementing HR initiatives, promoting workplace safety, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and enhancing staff well-being.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner for the Hong Kong office in all Talent Acquisition activities, implementing strategies that align with local business needs.
  • Oversee the full-cycle Talent Acquisition process, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing candidates, conducting pre-employment checks, and negotiating offer packages.
  • Engage proactively with hiring managers to comprehend critical talent requirements and facilitate the development of an appropriate talent pipeline, ensuring a mutual understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and service level standards.
  • Formulate and implement HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, manpower planning, and organizational development, in accordance with the company's strategic objectives and business plans. Provide HR solutions and recommendations across all facets as a business partner.
  • Actively participate in promoting and monitoring workforce safety within the offices, supporting staff well-being and enhancing productivity.
  • Stay informed about changes and updates in labor legislation and local employment practices.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, as well as ISO and SWA audit requirements, as necessary.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field. A minimum of three years of substantial experience in HR functions is required. Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, or retail sectors is preferred. Familiarity with a multinational and multicultural environment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR strategic planning and people practices, including recruiting and talent development.
  • Current knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations, and related regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • A competitive drive, strong work ethic, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Exceptional time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing workloads.
  • Capability to manage and lead key projects while influencing organizational change.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient command of spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
