Our client is well-known and reputable financial institute globally having well-established IT infrastructure environment.  The networking team is currently seeking an experienced Network Specialist responsible for :

  • Manage and support data networks infrastructure comprised of core network switching devices, routers, and firewalls
  • Provide day-to-day operation support on network infrastructure including configuration, administration, health check, traffic analysis, perform root cause analysis and problem resolution 
  • Be able to perform software-defined networking with automation skills
  • Involve in network and security enhancement and revamp related projects
  • Work as subject matter expert in the areas of data network design, implementation, support and maintenance

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder of Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least six (6) years in Network Infrastructure with experience of implementing and support large-scaled network infrastructure
  • Following experience and knowledge are good to have but not all required:
        - Routing and switching such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, QoS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, VRF and VPN 
        - Spine-Leaf network architecture and SDN (e.g. Cisco ACI preferred) 
        - Firewalls 
        - Network segmentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills on data, voice and video networks 
  • In-depth knowledge in network segmentation through various technologies such as routing and virtual networking 
  • Preferred skills: 
        - Professional certifications: CCNP, CCIE or CISSP 
        - Experience in Zero Trust network security models and deployment 
        - Experience in cloud virtual networking and security 
        - Experience in programming language (e.g. Python) and Ansible for network automation
