Description

• Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes for electronic components and parts, including supplier qualification, process validation, and incoming inspection
• Conduct comprehensive on-site supplier audits to evaluate their quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and product compliance
• Analyze quality data, performance metrics, and test results to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality targets, key performance indicators, and corrective action plans
• Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers, helping them optimize their processes and meet our stringent quality standards
• Participate in new product development and design review processes to ensure quality and manufacturability of electronics parts and other components
• Document quality procedures, specifications, and work instructions to maintain consistent quality standards
• Serve as a subject matter expert, training and mentoring cross-functional teams on quality best practices

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or a similar quality assurance role in the electronics industry/automotive industry
• In-depth understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles in the context of components and parts
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with industry-standard quality management systems
• Experience in process validation, quality assurance for electronic components and parts, and supplier auditing
• Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus
