Overview: To support the set-up and delivery of retail projects and programmes from initial feasibility stage through to design, procurement, construction, and successful handover. You will be a project manager representing the end user client, taking the proactive actions in managing and coordinating all stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the Annual Capital Planning process. This will require to design and implement a best-in-class annual capital planning framework, to integrate all sources of data from Business and Property to inform the capital plan.
  • Provide a framework, process and methods related to the annual capital planning process
  • Leading and managing project teams for capital initiatives, addressing performance challenges, and implementing value-added strategies
  • Advising on the best design, procurement, and delivery models for projects, ensuring compliance with project documentation and approval processes.
  • Evaluating and identifying the contractual, health and safety, and operational risks
  • Promote best practices, and enhance performance standards
  • Overseeing and improving capital projects contracts, building strong supplier relationships
  • Lead Programme with the client’s internal and real estate partners to find simpler faster and better ways to operating whilst staying compliant with client policies and external rules and regulations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the built environment
  • Solid experience in program management, contract management and cost control
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and lead effectively in a team environment
  • Be willing to travel for business purposes as required
