[Intern, Market Development]


Key Responsibilities:

  • Mainly responsible for daily communication with MCEX issuers and participants
  • Covering but not limited to the application process for MCEX assets/products and participants
  • Assist in drafting and continuously revising the rules for asset/product listing and participant access
  • Support MCEX's strategic and market development plans as needed


Qualifications:

  • 3rd year or final year university students; major in Economics, Finance, Management, Operations Management, Accounting, Asset Management and so on
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
  • Muti-tasks and problem-solving skills
  • Thoroughness and attention to details
  • Diligent, committed and willing to learn
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Cantonese, English; fluency in Mandarin will be a plus
  • Minimum to work 4-5 days per week (can be absent occasionally for study arrangements)
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred


[Intern, Corporate Development]


Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Corporate Development role at Micro Connect is to shape and execute our strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, strategic planning, and business development. The candidate will work as part of a team that is involved in all aspects of developing the Exchange and Micro Connect Group.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances that drive growth and enhance the value proposition of MCEX.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. Coordinate with various departments to execute initiatives effectively.
  • Strategic Communications: Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies to enhance MCEX’s reputation and visibility. This includes identifying speaking opportunities for senior management, managing social media, and coordinating event participation to promote the company’s initiatives and achievements.


Qualifications:

  • 3rd/ 4th year undergraduate or graduates pursuing master’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, legal, or related disciplines
  • Prior experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, project management, business development, or other related fields
  • Demonstrated interest in innovations, finance, and fintech
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Self-starter, fast learner, detail oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese; fluency in Cantonese will be a plus
  • 4-5 days a week onsite; long-term (>2 months) commitment is preferred


[Intern, Corporate Development (Issuer and Participant Services)]


Role Overview:

Issuer and Participant Services at MCEX manages the asset/product listing and participant onboarding processes of MCEX. The team is responsible for servicing both prospective and existing issuers/participants, processing applications for new asset/product listings, and supporting the management team in market development, policy development, and other strategic initiatives of MCEX.


Responsibilities:

Issuer Services

  • Assisting in handling pre-listing and post-listing enquiries and addressing questions on listing related policy matters
  • Compiling and maintaining overview materials on MCEX’s listing regime and internal guidelines / operating procedures on application review processes

Participant Services

  • Assisting in handling enquiries from prospective and existing participants around MCEX’s participant regime and onboarding and operating processes
  • Supporting prospective participants on their onboarding process

Market Development

  • Supporting in managing communications with institutional, government, and regulatory counterparts
  • Assisting in strategic and market development initiatives as required


Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or above students/fresh graduates, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, legal, or related disciplines
  • Internship experience in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, law, financial regulations, or other related fields will be a plus
  • Demonstrated interest in innovations, finance, and fintech
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management

  • Help to organize, classify, and archive financial and company secretary-related documents, both electronically and in paper form, ensuring compliance and traceability
  • Assist in maintaining system entry and updates for key documents such as contracts, invoices, and reimbursement receipts

Expense Reimbursement Processing

  • Assist in reviewing the compliance of employee reimbursement documents, verifying the consistency of invoice information with system data
  • Follow up on the reimbursement process, including system submission, approval follow-up, and payment status tracking

Company Secretary Support

  • Assist in managing company secretary affairs, including preparing board meeting documents, shareholder meeting materials, annual review declarations, and updates to company registration information
  • Maintain the accuracy of statutory registers (e.g., shareholder register, director register) and assist with compliance filings

Other Financial Support

  • Assist with monthly account reconciliation, basic data analysis, and financial report preparation
  • Support daily administrative tasks of the department, such as meeting arrangements, cross-department communication, and follow-up on ad-hoc projects


Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and basic company secretary procedures is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PPT) with basic financial system operation skills
  • Highly detail-oriented: sensitive to numbers, able to efficiently handle a large volume of documents with zero errors
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), capable of writing business documents in both languages

  • Use tools like CapCut/PS to create recruitment promotional videos and employee culture clips
  • Organize recruitment data (conversion rates, channel effectiveness, etc.) and produce visual analysis reports using Excel/Tableau


Job Requirements:

  • University students majoring in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields preferred
  • Strong communication skills with an aptitude for cross-departmental collaboration; experience in campus clubs or projects is a plus
  • Proficient in Office (especially Excel functions/charts), with preference for those skilled in PS/video editing
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, strong stress tolerance, and passionate about HR development
  • Ability to work 4-5 days per week (can be absent occasionally for study arrangements)
