We are seeking an experienced Regional Account Director to lead and grow our strategic partnership with a major pharma client across the JACK ( Japan , Australia , China and Korea ) region .The ideal candidate will combine deep pharmaceutical / healthcare sector expertise with strong client relationship management skills to drive strategic growth and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to be at the fore front of an exciting new client unlocking an extensive portfolio of work with extensive opportrunity to drive strategic direction and growth.


Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining strong partnerships at all levels of the client organization.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with analytical ability to assess the business and drive the organization forward – ownership over regional account budget and profitability.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of creative production initiatives across multiple markets in JACK, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with regional healthcare regulations.
  • Drive organic account growth through proactive identification of new opportunities, development of strategic proposals, and expansion of services across the client's brand portfolio.
  • Oversee project delivery teams across multiple markets, ensuring consistent quality, timely delivery, and adherence to medical-legal approval processes specific to each market.
  • Manage escalations and complex situations with senior stakeholders, providing solutions that balance client needs with business objectives.
  • Ability to manage and deliver complex projects involving large, cross-functional teams; collaborating to build consensus on matters of significance and overcome obstacles.
  • Collaborative, results driven team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong desire to
  • achieve results while respecting the company’s core values framework.
  • Experience writing, reviewing and formatting sales proposals, presentations and business documents with the appropriate level of software proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Lead Regional Implementation – designing and building delivery teams across markets to ensure client success.


Job Insights:


  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in account management, with at least 5 years specifically in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • The ideal candidate will combine deep healthcare/pharma sector expertise with strong client relationship management skills to drive strategic growth and operational excellence
  • This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of an exciting new client unlocking an extensive portfolio of work with extensive opportunities to drive strategic direction and growth
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare marketing regulations and medical-legal approval processes across key JACK markets.
  • Proven track record of growing and maintaining large multi-market accounts in the healthcare sector.
  • Deep understanding of drug lifecycle management and healthcare brand communications requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare market dynamics across JACK countries, including regulatory frameworks and cultural considerations.
  • Lead Regional Implementation – designing and building delivery teams across markets to ensure client success.


Personal Attributes


  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges
  • Willingness to travel across the JACK region (upto 30% of time)
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more Asian languages highly preferred .
  • Experience with global creative production agencies preferred
