Our client is a renowned foreign corporate bank. They are looking for someone to join as a Director / ED - Global Markets- EM Rates Trading.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for trading key EM (Emerging Markets) products such as HKD and CNH , and providing market-making services to customers to achieve essential financial targets.
• Conduct market analysis to develop and implement hedging strategies.
• Trade and manage positions in accordance with market-making obligations and risk limits.
• Collaborate with various teams and departments (sales, traders, management, risk control, back office, IT, etc.) to address issues and implement solutions.
• Optimize revenue generation and enhance client coverage by maintaining a clear understanding of client segments, activities, and industry trends.
• Share market intelligence and relevant regulatory, legal, and tax information with internal stakeholders and decision-makers.

Requirements

• Extensive direct experience in trading local HKD and CNH markets.
• Over 8 years of experience managing emerging market rates trading books, with a proven track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of fixed income products, specializing in interest rate swaps and cross-currency swaps (CCS).
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategies for trading and risk management.
• Proven ability to produce comprehensive trading insights and effectively present trading ideas and strategies .
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for the Vice President position.
