T he American Club Foundation (ACF) was formed in 2019 to create a caring, equitable and sustainable Hong Kong. We have been working to uplift disadvantaged communities, shore up underprivileged children and champion environment sustainability ever since. We hold our section 88 status from the Hong Kong government and provide support through our innovated Grants+ program designed to help Hong Kong thrive. Unlike other foundations, we do more than just fund. We help guide our partners, educate stakeholders, create volunteer opportunities, connect communities and much more!


Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Programs and Operations Manager at the American Club Foundation in Hong Kong SAR. This position supports and manages the ACF's programs, operations, community engagement and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day activities involve coordinating with various volunteer and charitable partners, managing grant programs, organizing events, supporting marketing plans and ensuring the smooth and happy operation of ACF's initiatives. The role reports directly to the Foundation’s CEO.


Qualifications

  • Desire to give back to our local community
  • Project Management and Program Development skills
  • Operations Management and Planning abilities including admin support of monthly Board and multiple Committee meetings.
  • Community Engagement and Partnership Building abilities
  • Marketing and Communications knowledge including program evaluations and research 
  • Grant and Fundraising support experience 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • English proficiency a must. (Knowledge of Cantonese a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders including volunteer committees, local charity partners and ACF Board members.
  • Exposure to the non-profit sector or social impact organizations a plus 
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of/open to learn programs like WIX, CANVA, Google, Zoom, Zoho (CRM system), bookkeeping, etc.
  • Willingness to work from a coworking space in the city, (or from home as decided by the CEO)
