JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures in relation to bedroom, bathroom, valet, cleaning, and linen service
  • Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
  • Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift handover is completed
  • Perform room allocations and room inspections
  • Liaise with Front Office and Engineering Department for both guest and hotel requirements
  • Co-ordinate special projects (e.g. site rooms, pest control, window and carpet cleaning, room inventories)
  • Maintain records and storage of all lost and found items
  • Manage storage areas
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superior or Hotel Management

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Form 6 or above
  • Minimum 4 years of housekeeping experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity
  • Responsible, well organized, strong leadership skill and a good team player
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese, capability in English would be an advantage
  • Experience in operating housekeeping equipment and basis knowledge of chemicals
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Floor Supervisor
