    • Job Highlights

    • 5 days work, tsuen wan, flexible work hours
    • over 5 yrs publishing experience in Science or related subject
    • familiar with local Science publication; STEM, coding, Phy, Chem, Bio
    Responsibilities:
    • Edit, write, proofread and check content including artworks and photos, to ensure language quality and general accuracy
    • Prepare briefs for design, artworks and photos
    • Edit content for print and electronic teaching / learning materials
    • Liaise with writers and illustrators to develop projects
    • Assist in project planning
    • Assist in supervising junior editorial staff
    • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management
    Requirements:
    • University graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related discipline
    • Over 5 years editorial or teaching experience in Science, with Textbook publishing experience a distinct advantage
    • Candidate with supervisory experience will be considered as more senior position
    • Familiar with the local Science curriculum
    • Knowledge in coding and STEAM education is an advantage
    • Attention to details
    • Good command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input
    • Organized and self-motivated
    • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Editor/Project Editor position
