Our client is a leading OEM manufacturer specializing in premier electrical household appliances for worldwide brand names.  Due to their continued business growth in Asia, they are now looking for a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager to be part of their growing team. 

Principle Accountabilities:

• Report directly to Director of Procurement.
• Responsible for vendor management with reporting and analysis.
• Work closely with internal engineering, project as well as production teams to meet customers' delivery requests.
• Continuous improvement on procurement efficiency, develop and review sourcing strategies to contribute to the company goals and objectives.
• Actively participate in contract negotiation in furtherance of cost savings and optimization of vendor mix, review supply sources and procurement processes in accordance with group procurement policy and procedure.
• Ongoing procurement development and enhancement, develop alternative suppliers to enhance both market and price competition and product efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted supply without delay and acceptable quality in compliance with company standard.
• Formulate effective contingency plan on the supply of core materials to guarantee production continuity.
• Carry out projects and special task forces as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience with proven track record in purchasing/procurement of plastics, metal, coils, motors, electronic and mechanical components, raw materials in manufacturing industry, preferably within the electrical household appliance sector.
• Well versed in procurement policy, procedures, and workflow review.
• Excellent leadership and management skills in driving changes and transformation.
• High level of integrity, a team player and able to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly analytical with proficiency in costs and budget control.
• Excellent written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Traveling to China or overseas is required.
